Susan is an Edmonton born actor with credits including "Fantine" (Les Miserables) on Broadway, Toronto, Los Angeles, Asia and South Africa, "Grizabella" (Cats), "Eva Peron" (Evita), and "The Narrator" (Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) among other leading roles. Her warm personality charmed both audience and chorister as she performed repertoire from the musical theatre genre as well as traditional Christmas classics including "O Holy Night" and "Silent Night". Choirs from St. Bonaventure Catholic School, Wesley Christian Academy and UCC Alumni joined UCC for the event, providing a musical pallette of well over 250 young singers. Massed numbers included "A Child is Born" and "Dona Nobis Pacem", and the Upper Canada Chorus demonstrated excellent vocal diversity with repertoire ranging from Lamot's "The Lord's Prayer and Healey Willan's "Regina Coeli" to the more contemporary arrangements of "There Is No Rose" by Randall Stroope, and "We Are Lights" by Stephen Schwartz.
