A nutritious snack is integral to the UCC rehearsal philosophy. Rehearsals are an intense experience, both physically and mentally. A balanced snack in the middle of rehearsal provides a much needed mental break, necessary physical nourishment, and an opportunity to socialize with each other. THORNHILL SNACK (Viaje, Erudio, Minogi & Avanzare) (60 CHORISTERS) MONDAYS (2 parents will share in providing the snack) This is a shared / integrated snack for all choristers in the above mentioned ensembles attending the Thornhill location. Both contributing parents will need to ensure that their portion of the snack is at the attendance table prior to 6:00. Snack will be cleaned up at the end of the Avanzare rehearsal. Please clearly label any trays etc... you want returned to you the following week. Parents no longer need to set up, supervise or clean-up snack. AMANI SNACK (55 CHORISTERS) MONDAYS 7:45-8:00 P.M. (2 parents will share in providing the snack). Please set up the snack by 7:30 on the counter in the kitchen beside the rehearsal auditorium. Parents no longer need to set up, supervise or clean-up snack. UNIONVILLE SNACK (Viaje, Erudio, Minogi & Avanzare) (35 CHORISTERS) TUESDAYS (2 parents will share in providing the snack) This is a shared / integrated snack for all choristers in the above mentioned ensembles attending the Thornhill location. Snack should consist of: • Cheese & Crackers
Please do not bring muffins, cookies, cake, pop, chips or other "junk" foods. Also please be aware that we have several choristers with severe nut allergies and so our snack time is strictly nut-free. In an effort to maintain environmentally concious standards, we are asking parents to avoid styrofoam and non-recycleable plastic plates at snack time. Paper plates and napkins are perfect as they can be put directly in the green bin along with any leftover food. A photo demonstrating an example of snack for 55 is shown here, and should serve as a guide for quantity and quality. |
